“O Controller of the hearts make my heart steadfast in Your religion”

يَا مُقَلِّبَ الْقُلُوبِ ثَبِّتْ قَلْبِى عَلَى دِينِكَ
‘Ya muqallibal-qulubi, thabbit qalbi ‘ala deenik

Shahr bin Haushab reported:
I asked Umm Salamah (May Allah be pleased with her), “O Mother of the Believers! Which supplication did the Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) make frequently when he was in your house?” She said: “He (Peace be upon him) supplicated frequently this dua.

[At- Tirmidhi].

“O Allah, I ask You for GUIDANCE ,piety, CHASTITY and CONTENTMENT”

Allahumma inni as’alukal-huda, wat-tuqa, wal-‘afafa, wal-ghina

Ibne Majah, Tirmidhi

“O Allah! Inspire in me guidance and deliver me from the evils within myself “

Allahumma al-himni rushdi, wa a’idhni min sharri nafsi

[At-Tirmidhi].

“O Allah, Controller of the hearts, direct our hearts to Your obedience”

Allahumma mussarifal-qulubi, sarrif qulubana ‘ala ta’atik

“O Allah! I seek refuge in You from undesirable manners and deeds and desires and diseases”
[Protect me from all of these]
