رَبِّ هَبْ لِي مِن لَّدُنكَ ذُرِّيَّةً طَيِّبَةً ۖ إِنَّكَ سَمِيعُ الدُّعَاءِ
Rabbi hab lee min ladunka thurriyyatan tayyibatan innaka samee’ud-du’aa
Surah Al-Imran,verse 38
This is the supplication of Prophet Zakariyya Alaihissalaam.

Surah Al-Anbiya,verse 89

Surah Maryam ,verses 5-6

رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّـٰتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍ وَاجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا
Rabbanaa hab lanaa min azwaajinaa wathurriyyaatinaa qurrata a’yunin waj’alnaa lilmuttaqeena imaamaa.
Surah Al-Furqān, verse 74
This dua can be recited for
- Piety and taqwa
- To invoke Allah for a pious spouse
- To ask Allah for righteous children
This is the supplication of the believers who avoid the evil and falsehood.
Dua for a safe pregnancy and the Protection of your children
I seek protection for you in the Perfect Words of Allah from every devil and every beast, and from every envious blameworthy eye.
”O my Lord ! make me one who establishes regular prayer and (also) from my offspring ,our Lord ! and accept my prayer”
رَبِّ اجْعَلْنِي مُقِيمَ الصَّلَاةِ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِي ۚ رَبَّنَا وَتَقَبَّلْ دُعَآءِ
Rabbi ij’alnee muqeemas–salaati wamin thurriyyatee rabbanaa wataqabbal du’aa.
Surah Ibrahim ,verse 40
This dua can be recited for the following purposes.
- Piety and righteousness
- For the acceptance of your dua
- To offer salah regularly
- For righteous children
My Lord! Grant me the power that I may be grateful for Your Favour which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents, and that I may do righteous deeds, which please You, and make righteous for me my offspring; indeed, I turn to You and indeed I am of those who submit”
رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِىٓ أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ الَّتِي أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيَّ وَعَلَىٰ وَالِدَيَّ وَأَنْ أَعْمَلَ صَـٰلِحًا تَرْضَىٰهُ وَأَصْلِحْ لِي فِي ذُرِّيَّتِي ۖ إِنِّي تُبْتُ إِلَيْكَ وَإِنِّي مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ
Rabbi awzi’nee an ashkura ni’matakallatee an ‘amta ‘alayya wa ‘alaa waalidayya wa-an a’mala saalihan tardaahu wa-aslih lee fee thurriyyatee innee tubtu ilayka wa-innee minal-muslimeen
Surah Al-Ahqaf ,verse 15
This dua can be recited for the following purposes.
- To express gratitude and thankfulness to Allah
- For piety and taqwa
- To seek Allah’s Pleasure
- To have righteous children
Our Lord, and Make us Muslims [in submission] to You and from our offspring a Muslim nation [in submission] to You. And show us our ways of worship (all the ceremonies of pilgrimage – Hajj and ‘Umrah, etc.)and turn to us (in Mercy); Indeed, You are the One Who accepts repentance, the Most Merciful.”
رَبَّنَا وَاجْعَلْنَا مُسْلِمَيْنِ لَكَ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِنَا أُمَّةً مُّسْلِمَةً لَّكَ وَأَرِنَا مَنَاسِكَنَا وَتُبْ عَلَيْنَا ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ
Rabbanaa waj’alnaa muslimayni laka wamin thurriyyatinaa ummatan muslimatan laka wa-arinaa manaasikanaa watub ‘alaynaa innaka antat-tawwaabur-raheem
Surah Al-Baqarah ,verse 128
This is the du’aa of the Prophets Ibrahim and Isma`il Alaihissalaam. They made this du’aa while they were building the Holy Kaaba.
It can be recited for
- Taqwa
- Piety
- To make yourself and your offspring submit to Allah
- Forgiveness of your sins
- Acceptance of your repentance
